Often, people intialy become a home based business opportunity seeker, because they are unsatisfied with their work life and are looking for a change. They have become sick of the drudgery of a 40 hour, or upwards of 60 to 70 hour work week and are looking for a change of work pace. Many seek the flexibility of scheduling your own hours and becoming their own boss. Many turn to a home based business opportunity not to reduce the number of hours they work, but for the opportunity to work for themselves. They look to satisfy their entrepreneurial spirit and generate a living from their own personal work. An additional lure to many home based business opportunity seekers is the idea of earning extra income. There is a little known fact that most people who go bankrupt would have avoided bankruptcy if they earned only an extra $500 a month. Home based businesses are an awesome opportunity to earn that extra money at your own pace, working your own hours, and often doing something that you truly enjoy. Particularly those that are in or raising a family become a home based business opportunity seeker so that they can spend more time with family. Often they are looking for some way to generate enough income so they could quit a job and raise their children. Whether it is to reduce childcare costs, have one parent at home with the children, or to reduce the number of hours away from home, this is a popular option for many. Often parents see that they have no option and think that both must continue to work 40 hour weeks, but the reality is that if one of them becomes involved in and truly works at a home business opportunity, they would find that they would generate enough income for one of them to quit their job and be home with their kids. More and more people are showing an interest in and becoming a home based business opportunity seeker. They see it as a way to either reduce the number of hours they work, generate a little extra income, or an opportunity to spend more time raising their children.
